Open for the world
Course setting: "Open for the world" needs to be implemented

Beware of this feature. There are a few "hidden" problems, like the fact that you can't provide a tracking (even temporary) for the learning paths, nor results for exercises, if the user doesn't have an account.
The solution in 1.8 was to add an "anonymous" type account, which anyone uses if not connected, but this implies a series of other problems, like the fact that the portal shows that you are connected as the anonymous user, that many people might use this account at the same time, etc.
We need serious brainstorm on this (might be just a one-person brainstorm, but it needs to be thoroughly thought).

Ok .. we should update this issue again. What will we do with this? Most important question is:
- can we have a view on content object for non-users?
- can non-users only view or can they actually DO something with the data ?? (like taking assessments, survyes, reply on forum topic, ..)
- if we have such a view how will we handle tracking/reporting?
- what about security issues?

Ok. After contacting all our 1.8.5 customers. Most of them don't use the 'open for the world' feature. And the few people that do use it don't see a problem changing to a demo/demo account solution.
So I guess we can remove this from the feature list in 2.0?
