Description

At this moment it's impossible to add a specific assignment to a learning path. You can only add an Assignment tool with all created assignments, which is extremely inconvenient, because students don't need to see assignments, that are intended for later lessons. They should only be able to see what's needed from that at this specific moment.

Hi Bruce. Thanks for contributing to Chamilo.
I believe this has already been reported. I will look for a similar report in a minute. Please make sure you don't set the priority, as it's something we define internally (unless you are providing the code changes yourself).

There you go. I added the two related tasks suggesting the same feature.
If you need it in a hurry, you can always contact Chamilo official providers to get it done for your version of Chamilo. Otherwise this will probably be included in version 2.0 anyway (probably a year from now as version 1.10 is just about to go public in a few weeks).

Hi Yannick. Thanks for the update. I was looking through all submitted issues before posting it and wasn't able to find it (i guess those duplicate issues were submitted in Spanish and I couldn't understand much).
Anyways, looking forward to seeing 1.10 stable version. I was hoping to see this feature in 1.10 release, but I guess it cannot be done, even though I think it's much more important feature for an e-platform than some other tasks. Thanks once again for such a quick response.
btw, who are those Chamilo official providers and how they operate? I guess I missed this somehow.

Hi Bruce, sorry we couldn't add this one. It's been there for a while but it's a bit more complex to add than it seems, so it's been pushed back a few times.

Tasks are decided on the basis of community requests, market tendencies or customers requests (in any order). Usually, contributors to Chamilo have a higher influence (for example, we developers tend to "please" Chamilo documentation writers more than the random people appearing just to suggest a feature - no offence)

Official providers can be found here: https://chamilo.org/providers/ or if you go to the website, go to the "Help" menu and click "Official providers".
