Description

So when you make an upgrade your files will not be overwritten...
Not sure to put this in 1.9.10 or 1.10

Good idea. I was thinking about putting stuff in the install guide about that.
You can put it in 1.9.10. After all, this will not break anything that already exists.
There's also a similar issue with the basic files in the home/ directory, but this should be in another task (and might be more complex to solve without breaking anything).

I would prefer the custompages/ directory to remain like this but the files within this directory be renamed to first_login.dist.php, etc.
The "custompages/images" directory can remain like this. Developers can just create new images, but the README file should warn that re-using the same filenames will generate overwrites on upgrades. Something like:
"Do not replace the images in the images/ directory. Instead, create new images, as the current ones will be overwritten by each Chamilo upgrade."

This should be enough and would avoid a new directory at the root.
