Description

When I try to create a new test and set an end time (in the future) and try to create the test, I get an error message (_The form contains incorrect or incomplete data. Please check your input.). When I scroll down the time is checked, but there's no date field. It only appears after I uncheck it, and it's highlighted with a message saying "Invalid date". At this point I can't do anything, because whether I check or uncheck the option, the test can't be created because the error message appears.

I've noticed that the problem only occurs if I set the time to an hour between 1 am and 1 pm CET. There's a more general problem with time and time zones, because before the change to winter time the attendance dates after the change showed an hour earlier (all the classes before the change showed up as 8 am, and after the change as 7 am). I thought this was clever (the system predicted the time change) and the hours would "become" 8 again after the time change. But they didn't. What's worse, when I tried to manually change them, they behaved in a weird way, basically each hour changed to the current time at which I was correcting them, whatever I typed in. So I had to remove all the dates and add them again.

I made a mistake in the first sentence of the previous post, the problem occurs for times between 1pm and 1am, so I have set the end time to morning hours for it to work.

  • Category set to Exercises
  • Target version set to 1.9.10

Your report came in very late, so we'll try to put it into 1.9.10, but otherwise we'll find something for version 1.9.12 in a few months time (and a patch will probably be available before that).
Please try to give us a report a little better structured if you can, with a complete (step-by-step) testing procedure (including your country/timezone)

The testing procedure is quite simple: I create a new test, give it a name, leave all the settings to default but tick Enable end time, and set the date and time in the future (time between 1 p.m. and 1 a.m. I get the message The form contains incorrect or incomplete data. Please check your input. When I scroll down again, the end time is ticked but the date is invisible; it appears when I untick it. At this stage the only solution is to set the time to an hour between 1 a.m. and 1 p.m, then no problems appear and the test is created. My timezone is CET (Warsaw).

Olá,
Pelo que entendi.
Eu tinha este problema "parecido" na v1.9.8. Que foi resolvido aqui: https://github.com/chamilo/chamilo-lms/commit/03a9f8bbaf93b43f2c31c4e541c3ad50a33d192f
Instalei a versão 1.9.10 alfa. E não tem esse problema.

Tried here as well. Marcelo is right, this has been fixed. Please try on https://stable.chamilo.org

But I've got the current version (1.9.8) from chamilo.org. The version you gave the link to seems a bit different, though - where can I download it?

stable.chamilo.org is the development version (now in beta phase) of Chamilo 1.9.10. You can download it from here https://github.com/chamilo/chamilo-lms/releases but it is still BETA, so not recommended for production.
