Description

Hi,

Interested by importing quizes (a good way to save time :) ) I conducted a test using latest 1.9.8x from Github.
As I occured previously, the excel file is considered only as a single answer type, so only the latest ticked on multiple answers is taken.

In the meantime, if you have the choice between Vrai and Faux (True and False), the platform changed Vrai (True) into 1 and removed the word Faux (false).
The correct radio button is however ticked.

Last but not least, I wish you a very happy new year :)

So the problem here is that "True" is transformed into 1, and that "False" is removed, when you have a question with only True or False as an answer, is that correct?

Could you provide an example Excel file of this case?

Hi Yannick,

Indeed when you use the excel file (the sample one is perfect to make the test), only the first X is taken into account...

This means that only single answer is allowed.

As an example, take the first question and tick answer 1 and 2, set the score at 20.
In this case you should get 10 per good answer and -10 per bad answer.

Here after upload, the platform only gives 10 points (and you acn't tick the 2 answers, only the first one is taken).

I hope this helps...

  • Tracker changed from Bug to Feature
  • Subject changed from Exercises - import Excel file is only working for QCM (1 goood answer) to Exercises - Add support for multiple correct answers in Excel import
  • Target version set to 2.0

OK, so you are only saying that you want support for multiple-choice-multiple-answer type. This is a new feature then, not a bug.

Thanks for the additional precision!

Hi Yannick,

I certainly missunderstood what we said during the BBB conference. I understood that this whould already be the case, this is why I reported this as a bug.

Yes this would be a great thing to be able to import both multiple choice and multiple answers (Global question would be a greta hlp for this :) )
Thanks for your update
