Changing 'items showed' in Lists in admin section gives incorrect URL

Description
When changing the length of the number of items shown in a list in the admin section, the "application" part of the URL disappears, which results in an odd login screen.
To reproduce:
-log in as administrator
-go to Administration -> Tracking -> List (or any other Administration application using that list feature, like Administration -> Help -> List)
-change the list length through the dropdown menu.
I haven't tested this in other sections than Admin, but given the nature of the problem it seems likely it could happens on other places too.
