Description

A test should be added during the installation process to make sure that the memory limit is set to at least something like 50 M, because the default PHP install sets it to 16 M and the page main/exercice/exercice.php apparently requires more than that

And the recommended value for memory_limit on the diagnoser's page http://......./chamilo/main/admin/system_status.php?section=php will have to be updated. Currently it says 10M - 100M - ...

I think that 10M is too low what do you think of changing to 64M - 128M instead of 10M 100M?

In fact it should be something like > 64M

Ok I added the minimun values during installation and in the diagnoser

Maximum upload file size >= 10M
Maximum post size >= 10M
Memory Limit >= 64M

It could be changed just modify this constants in main.api.php

define('REQUIRED_MIN_MEMORY_LIMIT',         '64');
define('REQUIRED_MIN_UPLOAD_MAX_FILESIZE',  '10');
define('REQUIRED_MIN_POST_MAX_SIZE',        '10')

Max upload and post should be left at 2M by default, and be recommended at around 10M for most cases.
Memory limit should still be alright at 32M (as far as my tests go, Chamilo only uses around 24-28M for most pages). The problem with pushing the limit is that people get a feeling that the requirements are very high and that it won't work on their hosting service
