Description

When you disallow the creation of all types of content objects and then navigate to your repository - click Create. All tiles are now invisible but in the picklist all possible object types are still there.

So I guess there is no check which object are not allowed during the fill of that picklist.

This is not a bug, it' s a feature... Platform administrators will always have the opportunity to create each type of learning object (the real bug is that the blocks where hidden even form platform admins) but this is fixed in
