Description

When a student fails a one-attempt exam and gets the possibility to re-take the exam, there is no way to avoid deleting his previous attempt (which makes us loose his tracking for the first attempt). It would be nice to make it possible to change the status of a previous attempt (say "to be ignored" or something like that).

As far as I know, there are many mechanisms in place now to take only the last or the best attempt to calculate the final score, so there shouldn't be anything to be modified in the calculations. Just the possibility to re-enter an exam when the previous attempt is marked as "ignored", and put some kind of visual difference in the list of results to show it has to be ignored.
