Bug #4990
closedLatex code insertion
0%
Description
Apparantly the server converting the latex code to an image is down. Don't know if this is a temporary issue.
Perhaps the URL is changed?
OLD URL (currently down)= http://codecogs.izyba.com/gif.latex?\frac{1}{2}
other URL (currently working)= http://latex.codecogs.com/gif.latex?\frac{1}{2}
This is not a real bug and is not related to C3 only...

Correct the public server generating the images based on latex code is back online. It probably was a temporarly problem....

Perhaps in the future it is better to search for a solution which is not depending on a third party like a public server.
I know some latex solutions are just to difficult to let the customer install on the server.
I just saw a solution with javascript which can be integrated in chamilo it self without having to install some kind of cgi-like application.
Maybe you can have a look at http://www.mathjax.org
But this is not urgent at all, for the moment it works!!!
