Description

This would be youtube, dailymotion, slideshare. The idea would be to use oembed and ogp. So that you simply copy and paste the url.

Need to assess how we can integrate that. One solution would be to create a new tool. Another solution would be to modify the link tool.

this is already implemented into Fckeditor: a specific button for youtube and a general button "insert Widget": youtube, dailymotion, slideshare, and any another

Thanks for the feedback. The idea would be to move on and go beyond that by leveraging the oembed and ogp protocols. With those you can achieve the following:

- add resource by pasting the url - no need to look up for embed html code
- support any kind of ext provider that supports those protocols - that is most of them (ogp equals more or less facebook)
- extract medata data: title, description, keywords, thumbnail, size, etc

Furthermore the idea would be not only to add that to the editor but to provide that in a tool - the link tool comes to sense but presentation of urls do not allow for displaying embedable content.
