Description
Apparently, Docebo has something that we don't. Here is the description from one of our customers:
Pre-assessment is what everyone is talking about for e-learning in UK. The
government departments insist that some form of screening is done to assess
the current level of candidates before enrolling them onto the correct level
of courses. I only saw the Docebo demo but it seems that all they have done
is taken a version of the survey/test feature and put it at the front end of
the system. Based on the answers/scores achieved by the user it simply
takes them to a different starting point based on their score. On this
basis it should be easy enough to create this kind of feature with Dokeos.
Considering the current structure of Dokeos, the pre-assessment should be some kind of setting added to the exercise (1-n relation) where one can define a course to which the user will be subscribed to, depending on his results...
An exercise should have a marker boolean marker "preassessment" which makes it act as a pre-assessment. If it is, then only one attempt is allowed, then at the end, a message appears giving the results and saying to which course the user has been assigned.
