Sent a test/suggestion of a more complete bar. There are a lot of shortcuts made possible by the way it is presented, but I'm a bit worried some users will not catch it.

I think we should add :

Chamilo | sessions | courses | users | administration | - ----- | john doe (with dropbox effect) | logout

I don't like the idea of adding sub menus everywhere only in the "john doe" link.

may i suggest i little reduction of text-shadow effect on top bar menu items captions( 'small' screen size, large resolution leads to quite unreadable text)?

Hi Marko,

Could you check it now and tell me if the shadow you were talking about is still there? I'm not exactly sure what shadow you were talking about (I don't really see text-shadow on my screen).
In any case, we want to favor readability, so if there is any issue with that, we will make sure it can be solved before 1.9.

For the rest, I think the admin bar is fine now (and it is a good idea to have it only for the admin for now), so let's assume this task will be complete as soon as we check the readability issue.

i was talking about CSS text-shadow property; but styles were changed a lot in last few montth.
it's much better now on 1680 horizontal resolution on 15" LCD. I'm not in position to test on smaller device with higher resolution (like new ipad, ..)
The problem is worth to watch: aliasing is still present, some pixels from oblique lines (leters M,N,A, ...) are still missing, but it's a kind of cute ...

if you agree i will left this issue open for a while.
So far, only a couple of LCD's shows this symptom and i'd like to make a test on new ipad with extreme small pixels (2048x1536 at 9,7"). If percentage of the problematic device will not increase noticeable i will close the issue with beta release + a few days.

two latest tests: Dell Latitude : 15.6 FHD (1920x1080) Anti-Glare LED, Ipad3 : 9.7 (2048x1536) Retina . Looks fine, no complaints.
There is no symptom on newer displays (less than 2 years old). As for me, this issue can be closed.

The current version of the boostrap is 2.0.2 we should upgrade to the latest 2.0.4 but maybe later for the 1.9.1 otherwise we could fine other bugs ...
