Description

in course
create announcement
publish it and click "Show on home page"
Go to course
Select the Link tab
Click the announcement link
It links to the list of all announcements whereas it should like to the announcemet itself.

In course I am still having the same issue (I updated the code yesterday). I was thinking that the link would go to

http://localhost/chamilo/run.php?application=weblcms&course=17&go=course_viewer&tool=announcement&tool_action=viewer&browser=list&pub_type=3&publication=17

and not

http://localhost/chamilo/run.php?application=weblcms&course=17&go=course_viewer&tool=announcement&publication=17

That is we link to the object view not to the list.

That being said I have a few issues with my install. So it may be me.

BTW not everything I enter needs to be correted if impact is to high, or if does not make sense for everybody.

when I try on dev, the link on my homepage is "http://localhost/chamilo-dev/run.php?application=weblcms&go=course_viewer&course=4&tool=announcement&tool_action=viewer&publication=3" ... and on stable it is "http://localhost/chamilo/run.php?application=weblcms&go=course_viewer&course=4&tool=announcement&tool_action=viewer&publication=5"

both refer to the correct location, are you sure you have the latest code installed? Or possibly it are the install failures that cause this problem as you pointed out.

I will mark this as testing, please feel free to reopen this issue when the problem is not resolved.

I've retested this issue with the latest STABLE code.
The issue still remains, when clicking on the announcement (Links tab) you go to the "Published for me" tab in the Announcement tool and the list is empty ...

In other words, the announcement itself is not opened.
