New bug:

Fatal error: Call to a member function get_id() on a non-object in C:\wamp\www\google_code\common\extensions\external_repository_manager\php\external_repository_connector.class.php on line 79

Could this come from old cpo imports where the youtube was not connected to an external repository?

I had the same error message as Stefaan, but on another line. I changed the description of my youtube video, and then it worked fine.

this was the error message I got: Fatal error: Call to a member function getName() on a non-object in /var/www/chamilo2/common/extensions/external_repository_manager/implementation/youtube/php/youtube_external_repository_manager_connector.class.php on line 351

No error message anymore but a white screen after I click create. If it is a prerequisite to have specific connectors created before you can create a youtube object .. we should prevent the user from clicking 'Create' button.

I'll assign it to magali since she has more knowledge about the external repositories / youtube implementation and i can not reproduce this bug, not on my laptop and not on my mac
