Description
When searching for elements that are in a tree structure (like groups / course groups) it is impossible to select a parent object, only leaf nodes can be selected.

I'm aware of the problem. Has to do with some JavaScript / CSS that ends up contradicting one another.

I have seen that you have built a setting for this. I'll try to enable the setting and see what it gives

The "problem" has nothing to do with the setting. If I remember correctly, right now, if I re-enable the selection of all nodes we lose the ability to collapse specific subtrees. It's a very specific JavaScript / CSS related issue which I simply still have to try and fix.

Ok, the setting doesn't do much indeed. I have taken the opportunity to add the platform subgroups as well to the linked groups in a course.

You can now select parent objects again, but the downside is you can no longer collapse categories. Still looking for a solution for that one.
