cannot recreate bug, it works fine on our test-installation.

How did you check whether or not other users have access? rights for the portfolio-application are cached and if you just change user with the admin-functionality the cached rights will not have been updated. try closing your browser and log in again and see if the user still doesn't have view-rights.

Try to create a user account on icl.chamilo.org as a student. Go to the portfolio and look to the portfolio of jean marie. We always retrieve the message that the user is not allowed to view this content

also when clearing the cache, or logging in from another browser

this is indeed not normal but i cannot recreate the problem on my localhost or on our server.

have you installed the latest version? (I have the latest code but will try to do a re-install to see if that makes a difference)

can you post a screenshot of the Permissions tab on those items and of the "View rights on your items" popup window?

thanx. the first image is probably the permissions-tab of the folder "my professional portfolio". permissions on that folder are as expected because I have access to that folder and can view and give feedback.

Can you show me the settings for (one of) the underlying items also because all the rights for those items are somehow set to private access for you only. (they don't inherit from the parent folder)

permissions of first item

this is so weird. We haven't had any such problems with the rights in any of our tests.
how did you create these items? in the repository or in the portfolio application?

in the portfolio application, I think

I have found the problem. when publishing from the repository the right value of the portfolio-folder is not set correctly. I will fix it

fixed and pushed.

to fix on your installation without re-install you could simply adjust the right-value of the location for this portfolio in the database. deleting this portfolio could leave behind some garbage in the portfolio_locations table.
