Replacing Dokeos(TM) elements with Chamilo
During the installation there are many places were we find Dokeos
Updated by Julio Montoya about 9 years ago
- Assignee changed from Julio Montoya to Christian Alberto Fasanando Flores
- % Done changed from 0 to 60
The function api_get_software_name() was added.
The idea is to replace all variables that have dokeos or chamilo to i.e: get_lang('ChamiloInstallation'); to get_lang('XInstallation')
So we can use this function there.
$XInstallation = "%s installation";

It is less and less relevant, but I think the history should still remain (although less central to the documentation).
The wikipedia page for dokeos in English has been deleted, and it's probably a matter of time before other languages follow the same path.
However, it is important for someone diving into the history of the project to understand the origin, but it should be of the same importance between dokeos and claroline (5 years each, and now Chamilo is 5 years old as well).

- Assignee set to Alex Aragon
- change the mr D0keos pet character (main/img/)
- change the documents templates
The rest is only history in the code that we cannot really change.
Maybe check the settings_current, just in case...
I'm assigning this task to Alex Aragon because he's the one in charge of design.
