Description

Probably not possible to change it from php, but at least document a method in the multi-url interface (once the method is proven)

The favicon icon can be defined like this (retaken from our drupal site):

<link rel="shortcut icon" href="/sites/all/themes/acquia_marina/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon" />

So it could be asked to be left in the home/[campus_url]/favicon.ico and the header could get it from there...
