We should remove this class/directory.

The resource linker is very old code. I think it was initially developed by Patrick Cool for Dokeos (or even before that, in Claroline), and it served the purpose of easily creating links from one resource to another (link to a document from the forum or to a task from an exercise, for example).
Sadly, it was never really deeply implemented into the user interface, so it was mainly under-used.
The idea is good, in my opinion, although a bit unorganized. I think it is still used in the learning path for several things (maybe hotpotatoes tests?), but even there, I couldn't quite re-use the resource linker class as it was and had to duplicate the class in this context at the moment of writing the learning path classes (newscorm/ directory).
If removing it, we need to really ensure nothing is broken.
