Dear Chamilo user,
We are pleased to learn that you are interested in becoming a registered Chamilo Member. As for every membership registration process, there are some things we need to inform you about. Please read the following information carefully.
The Chamilo Association is dedicated to organising and coordinating research & development, promotional and recreational activities for the development and the promotion of open source e-learning and collaboration software, in particular of the Chamilo software suite.
The scope of the “Chamilo project” shall include the following specific matters: the Chamilo open-source software system, the community of developers and users of this software, all associated activities and infrastructures in their broadest sense considered to be required to further develop this project.
The association can undertake all activities that contribute to the realization of its aims, including profit generating activities within its legal bounds. Those profits will be used solely for the realization of its non-profit aims.
Becoming a member of the Chamilo Association creates a wide range of opportunities for you (and your company/organisation) and for us (community/software stakeholders) and we look forward to include you into this virtuous circle!
There are two types of Chamilo Association Membership: Admitted Members and Effective Members.- Admitted Members are organizations or people wanting to support the efforts of the association through a financial contribution, getting a series of practical advantages in return.
